What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar browser storage can remember information without using a traditional cookie. We use both terms in this policy where relevant.
How we use them
We use local browser storage to remember your cookie preference. This is necessary to honour your choice and expires after 12 months. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the website and improve its content, navigation and performance.
Essential storage
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
torp_cookie_consent | Troy O’Rourke Partnerships | Stores whether you accepted or rejected analytics. | 12 months |
Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may set the following first-party cookies. Google may change exact cookie names or durations as its service develops.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors using a pseudonymous identifier. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Maintains session information. | Up to 2 years |
Analytics may collect pages visited, visit times, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location and a truncated or otherwise processed IP address. Analytics is blocked until you choose “Accept” or enable analytics under “Customise”. Advertising storage and personalisation remain disabled.
Managing your choice
You can accept all optional analytics, reject them, or customise your preference in the banner. You can revisit your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. A new choice replaces the previous one and is stored for 12 months.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Clearing site data will remove the saved preference, so the banner will appear again.
Third-party information
